Join other members of the Environmental Defenders in a kayak on the Kishwaukee River on Saturday June 13th starting at 3 pm. The group will drop off any personal equipment at the Thorne Rd bridge in rural Marengo, then proceed to the end of the trip at County Line Rd. There is a large MCCD parking lot there, where we will meet our outfitter Paddle On! They will shuttle us back to Thorne Rd to start our journey.

We will meet at County Line Rd at 3 pm That is Friday of Memorial Day weekend. We anticipate we will be in our kayaks paddling west by 3:30, and land at County Line Rd around 5:00-5:30, depending on speed of river and your paddling. You can leave us then since your vehicle is parked there. Or, you can join us for a bite to eat at Miles Bar & Grill just down the road 6 minutes, 7045 Epworth Rd Garden Prairie.
